LEGO® DUPLO® 10981 – Growing Carrot is an educational 11-piece set designed for children aged 18 months and up. This easy and fun set introduces the child to the world of plants and the importance of healthy eating.
The set includes:
-
A pot into which the carrot pieces are placed.
-
Four carrot pieces that can be stacked to simulate growing.
-
Green top that is placed on top of the carrot.
-
A cloud and a sun, representing the weather conditions for growing.
-
Watering can, to “water” the carrot and encourage play.
When assembled, the carrot reaches a height of over 22 cm. The set encourages motor coordination, symbolic play and understanding of natural processes. Through play, children learn how plants grow and what they need to thrive.
In addition, the play helps children develop basic skills such as sequencing, cause-and-effect relationships and caring for living things. The set is compatible with other DUPLO sets and can be combined for even more fun.
